How I Met Your Mother
Plenty of fish in the sea. Yes, there's 9 million people in New York, 4.5 million women. Of course you wanna meet someone roughly your own age, let's say, plus minus 5 years. So if we take into account the most recent census data, that leaves us with 482,000. But, uh, wait 48% of those are already in relationships and then you have to eliminate half for intelligence, sense of humor and compatibility and then you have to take out the ex-girlfriends and the relatives and oh, we can't forget those lesbians and then that leaves us with 8 women.

And yea, maybe, maybe
there are some girls who wouldn't like it that
i called them right away or said things to soon
but, guess what, those arent the right girls for me
maybe the right girl is the one who loves that i do those things
because thats just who i am
and i'm not going to change because of some
wait three days before you call someone rule.

Looking Back

All this time you were suppose to say no
So you only have two minutes right?
You wanna go on a two minute date with me?
:)
and that kids is how you turn a no,
into a yes.

LB Photoshoot
After shooting there or on the campus for a little bit, we can make our way to the 2nd street naples canals. Going down Atherton again making a left on Bellflower, a left on Pacific Coast Highway, and a right on 2nd street.
Continue here and make a left on Toledo/Sorrento Drive (which is right before the 2nd bridge. Follow it as it curves and make a right onto Neapolitan Lane. Follow it down and stay on the left and make a left onto Florence Walk where we will be parking. It’s a great nice neighborhood so no worries here. We’ll be walking around the canals, over the bridge we drove over into a really nice park along a T split canal with a bunch of palm trees. It’s a beautiful area and you’ll all love it. We can explore more but we should probably leave and find some food by 5 or 6 ish at the latest. 2nd street has great food or we can go to roscoes.
Eventually We’ll go back down 2nd street the way we came and backtrack to Pacific Coast Highway. This time make a left on 7th street and take that all the way down to Long Beach Blvd. Left on Long Beach Blvd. Right on Ocean. Left on Pine Ave. You’ll be passing the huge steps of the convention center on the left and Long Beach Pike on the right. Make a right on Shoreline Drive. A Left on Aquarium Way. Follow it around the circle turn about and make a left at the first chance you get (which is still aquarium way). Follow it behind the Aquarium of the Pacific and you’ll find a parking lot on the left, which is absolutely safe and free. ☺
This is Shoreline park, a peninsula surrounded by water and bay. The lighthouse has a long winding road leading up to it and palm trees that go on forever. There are also fisherman piers, jetty rocks, and a perfect long shot of the Queen mary on the other side and the multi colored bridge that lights up at night (we’ll be back here before we go back to our cars for the night shot of this).
After the lighthouse and the Queen Mary scenery we can walk up the east end up the sidewalk bay north towards the ferris wheel, roller coaster bridge, the pike, and the convention center. If we continue north we can enter downtown long beach and shoot the busy street life. We can find some food here also if you’d like. We can also walk down ocean or pine ave. As we walk back hopefully the sun will be down and we can get some good shots at shoreline village and the bridge we saw earlier.
If time allows and its before 10PM, we can get back into our cars and head over to the last stop: Signal Hill’s Hilltop Park, just up 7th street again, left on cherry, and a right on skyline drive. The park closes at 10pm and SH police are really strict on curfew. So we gotta be out by 10, but you don’t wanna miss the skyline shot of Long Beach and ultimately, the greater LA/OC area. If you haven’t been there yet, you’re gonna wanna see it.
That pretty much concludes the night, If all goes according to plan, you shouldn’t have to worry about meters, (unless we go to 2nd street to eat), or paying for parking. Everywhere were going is pretty safe, downtown Long Beach is the only place I’d worry a little bit about, but there will be a lot of tourists walking around anyway on a Saturday evening. Make sure you have enough money for food and drink and bring really comfy shoes. Don’t forget to accessorize ☺
I hope this helps as the most convenient and affordable way to hit up all these spots. Can’t wait! P.S Afterwards, lets grub at Fantastics near signal hill park ☺
Thanks

He's Just Not That Into You
Sometimes we have those moments when we reach elevated thought and we think everything were saying is somehow life changing or amazing. BUT we honestly don't have much to say, its our 50 cents because thats what it is, just 50 cents, not a hundred dollars, not a million dollar idea, no, nothing special. its just another thought of idea by some other shmuck who thought hey, look at this: its called - im the exception not the rule. its called - she's out there waiting for me. its called the pathetically hopeless romantic notion that if you just wait, the right time, the right person will come along and you'll find love. heh. the idea that when i'm 40 and i talk to my kids about how i met there mother, it's going to be a incredibly cute story full of twists and turns, wit and smarts. its going to have that life changing moment, that moment that you know changed everything, when you looked up and went, dam - life is awesome. yea, the idea is probably short lived and over thought of, but hey, i still think its going to happen. because
i'm the exception, not the rule, i'm going to make it rain, i know its not going to work, but it just HAS too.

Its just hella funny the way im going to put this... but everything is coming together yes, and i'm enjoying work, zeta, my reincarnated school, and everything, but then i just realized, its been forever since i went dancing... and dammmmm... wowww... just, i forgot how it felt. pun intended, both mentally, and yea literally, to get down on the dance floor with someone. that was so much fun, so to my short lived partner, thanks, i almost forgot how it felt :) and yea i know i'm lame writing this. but guess what, the amount of time it took me to actually get out there and dance? that was more lame... let me go stick my head down a hole :)

Cruel Intentions
You spend all your time preaching
about waiting for love.
Well here it is.
Right in front of you,
and you're going to turn your back on it.
So I guess we're just fucked.
I'll move on.
But you are going to have to live the rest of your life
knowing that you've turned your back on love.
And that makes you a hypocrite.
Have a nice life.

Crash
It's the sense of touch.
In any real city,
you walk,
you know?
You brush past people,
people bump into you.
In L.A., nobody touches you.
We're always behind this metal and glass.
I think we miss that touch so much,
that we crash into each other,
just so we can feel something.

The Girl Next Door
That one special thing
that means more to you
than anything else in the world.
And when you find her,
you fight for her.
You risk it all,
you put her in front of everything,
your life,
all of it.
And maybe
the stuff you do to help her
isn't so clean.
You know what?
It doesn't matter.
Because in your heart
you know, that
the juice is worth the squeeze.
